One of the first signs is he loves being around you! You won't feel pressure to be perfectly made up, or wow them with your personality, rather you'll feel comfortable to be yourself and hang around them in your natural state.
You'll get on effortlessly and talk and laugh for hours almost as if you've known each other for years. You can bounce ideas off each other and confide in them early. They won't judge you on your past and if you're still hurting they want to help get you to a place of healing.
What's interesting is it won't be a big event where you call your friends to spill the gossip, you'll most likely keep it private for a while and enjoy their presence in a low key setting. You might not find them physically attractive right away but what makes them irresistible is how safe you feel in their presence and over time how consistent they are at checking up on you while being exactly who you need them to be in a crisis.
The way you communicate is respectful as well, there's less talk about being sexy and more dialogue about who you are as a person and your ambitions. If you've never been in that situation before you might ask them what it is about you that makes them interested and sometimes they'll tell you they "don't know" that's because the connection is spiritual.
