Questions to Ask Potential Wedding Planners

Sunday, March 05, 2017

Once you find potential wedding planners you may be interested in working with, typically what happens is you’ll schedule an initial consultation with them to see what they’re all about. This is a good time to ask them all the questions you have in order to see if they’re the right fit for you. Here are some of the questions you should ask:
•How long have you been in business for? •How many weddings do you typically plan on a monthly basis?

•Will you be handling all the planning or will it be an employee/assistant?

•Do you have any references? (Ask to see them! If there are little to no references, that’s a red flag)

•What to do charge for your services? Is it a flat fee, per hour or a percentage?

•What is included in your quoted price?

Remember, these are just some of the questions you should ask potential planners. Go ahead and make a list before your meetings and ask whatever questions you feel necessary. And always, go with your gut!
